The Music Department at West Highland is pleased to offer instruction by Christian teachers in piano, voice, various orchestral instruments, guitar, conducting and theory. Lessons are available both to those in our church as well as to the surrounding community.

STUDENTS of ALL AGES:
Are you playing an instrument in school? Do you have "gifts" of music? Do you aspire for a career in music?

PARENTS:
Do you need a recreational outlet from your busy week for yourself or your child?

MATURE ADULTS:
Are you looking for an outlet to express your creativity and revive the lessons that ended when you were younger?

What are the details?

COST / TUITION:
Individual lessons will be $18 per half hour. Select group lessons will be offered, (subject to musical discipline and number of students) at a reduced rate.

REQUIREMENTS:
Students will be required to purchase method or repertoire books as needed. There will be the option of preparing for Conservatory exams, with the students responsible for the associated costs.

WINTER TERM:
(20 weeks) Registration before January 2, 2012, with lessons to begin January 9. There will be no lessons during the March Break week.

FALL TERM:
(12 weeks) Registration 2012 dates to be announced. This term will end before Christmas break.

LOCATION:

In Person: Complete BOTH registration and student agreement forms and place with payment in an envelope and hand it to the attendant at the Welcome Centre at West Highland Baptist Church (1605 Garth Street). Alternately you can pay in person at the West Highland Church Office (393 Rymal Road W., Suite 205, Hamilton) Monday to Friday during business hours 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Pre-Authorized: Pre-authorized payment (monthly or by term) is encouraged. Pre-authorized forms can be found at the West Highland foyer, office, or can be downloaded here. Please follow the instructions for submission.
