Leadership through Servanthood
Throughout the year, the men at West Highland are involved in a variety of outreach initiatives, known as "Opportunities to Serve", that may be under the umbrella of Men?s Ministries or in fellowship with other ministries at
West Highland and beyond.
Some of these intiatives are pre-planned while others come along at various times and at the last minute throughout the year. Their focus can vary greatly from providing help to someone in need within the West Highland community to reaching out to those in within general community. These may include such things as a Single Mom's Car Wash, helping an individual and/or family to move, helping other ministries at WH, etc.
These "Opportunities to Serve" provide an opportunity for men to serve and be part of something special with the focus always on "Making the WORD Fully Known?.
While we try to keep upcoming "Opportunities to Serve" posted on the West Highland website, our typical mode of notifying men is via email. Please consider adding your name to our database and when a need arises you will receive an email. You will not be forced or coerced in any way to volunteer, it is as God so directs that we rely on volunteers.
