Core Beliefs

story.jpgWe live in a day when many church leaders seem intent on pushing an agenda that is driving churches further away from the truths of biblical Christianity. This leaves church going people disillusioned and in some cases disenfranchised from their own churches.

Aware of these strong trends, West Highland and its leaders desire to be faithful to the time-tested teachings of Jesus Christ and his Apostles. Our desire and motto is To Make the Word of God Fully Known. This is what we strive for in all of our ministries and community life together.

To help us do this we affirm the historic Apostles’, Nicene, and Chalcedon Creeds in all that they teach about the Triune God; we align ourselves with The Gospel Coalition (Confessional Statement); and we hold to a Statement of Faith which we believe is a faithful summary of what the Bible teaches.
