Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Many have been asking if in-person and onsite worship is happening tomorrow at West Highland. The answer is YES! There are three services – 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30 A.M. – BUT this will be our last opportunity to meet in person for the next six weeks. If you haven’t already registered for one of these three services make sure to do so before 5:00 P.M. today.

The Provincial Government’s announcement yesterday that churches and other places of worship won’t be able to meet publically as of Monday, April 19 was disappointing to us all. We are all frustrated and fatigued with COVID-related things. But let’s be careful not to become despondent.  Now is the time to draw near to God and keep our eyes focused on Christ. On Sunday, April 25 online worship will be live-streamed at 10:00 A.M. How about letting your friends, family, and neighbours know that they are welcome to join us online. Let’s view this lockdown as an opportunity to point others to Christ.

Tomorrow I will speak from Romans 14:1-15:9 in a message I have entitled “Do Not Destroy the Work of God.” I want to encourage you to read this passage to prepare yourself for worship tomorrow.

Whether onsite or online I am looking forward to “seeing” you.
