Serving at West Highland during COVID-19
Because of COVID-19, our Sunday worship services run differently than they usually do and require specific teams of people to help ensure everyone's health and safety.
Please note that:
- All volunteers will be required to be wearing face masks while performing their job. Bring your own, or in a pinch, use one provided by the church.
- Be sure to also register your attendance for the service you intend to attend/sit in. You can register here to attend Sunday services.
Door Greeters - will work as a team to ensure people enter the building in a touchless manner, offer a squirt of hand sanitizer, answer questions and direct people to the auditorium. They will be needed to be doing their job until 10 minutes into the service. Please arrive 30 minutes before your service starts.
Auditorium Greeters/Ushers and Washroom Monitors - will be at the door to welcome and answer questions, will assist in seating families, will ensure safe practices for our washrooms, and will be available during the service to fill in gaps where necessary. Please arrive 30 minutes before your service starts.
Post-Service Sanitation - assisting in sanitizing surfaces in the auditorium, the foyer, the railings, doorways, etc. This will happen immediately after the auditorium and building are cleared (you can help with that too!). Gloves and cleaners will be provided as needed.
