Category: Training & EquippingRemembering the Reformation with Dr. Michael Haykin
Why remember the Reformation? Why recall something that happened a long time ago in a late medieval world so different from our own modern era? Well, simply put: the Reformation is the most important event in the history of Christianity in the past millennium. It recovered the gospel of how we are saved, reshaped completely the way we worship, and reaffirmed the nature of biblical marriage - to name but three vital contributions of the Reformation to our lives as Christians today.
Join us as we look at key figures in this exciting period of church history: Martin Luther and John Calvin, Thomas Cranmer and Lady Jane Grey, to name but a few.
Starting Wednesday, September 20 at 7:30 PM in room 222.
