Help deliver the church newsletter to homes in our community. The time commitment for this ministry work is typically only about 2-3 hours 2 to 3 times a year.
The King’s Garden
Come volunteer your time in the King’s Garden! If you enjoy spending time outside we are always looking for help with weeding, planting, and harvesting. All of the food produced is donated to the community. Everyone is welcome to join and learn more about the garden. No experience necessary!
Volunteers are welcome every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM beginning May through to October.
English Among Friends
West Highland is a diverse community and is located on the ever-changing West Mountain that continues to grow in the number of people groups represented here. English Among Friends is a welcoming environment where volunteers help English as a second language-learners practice their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. This program is for anyone who wants to improve their English.
Serving in the Community
Adopt-A-School
Volunteers are needed to help serve in the Westwood Elementary School community. We have volunteers help in classrooms to assist teachers with tutoring.
The goal of this program is to develop a positive relationship with the school, principal, teachers, staff, and their families. This is a great opportunity to show the love of Christ through our behaviours and willingness to serve. Volunteers would be supporting the nutritional program, helping in classrooms, doing tasks to help the teachers out, and serving wherever else is needed!

Street Reach Ministry
This practical ministry for those suffering from Hamilton's local housing crisis. Street Reach Ministry provides food and clothing to the homeless in downtown Hamilton. They provide food such as sandwiches, soft fruit, granola bars, drink, other baked goods, clothing items such as socks, blankets, sleeping bags, coats, pants, and warm sweaters. They also offer prayer for the homeless! Anyone who has a heart for ministry and wants to be hands on with our team is welcome.
