François Turcotte

Our special guest at West Highland is François Turcotte, the president of Séminaire Baptiste Évangélique du Québec (SEMBEQ) in Montreal. SEMBEQ was established in 1972 by the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches to provide theological training in French to the growing number of Québécois  who were being called to plant, establish and serve churches in Québec. SEMBEQ’s unique ministry continues and contributes significantly to the flourishing of evangelical churches throughout the province. François served as a lead pastor for 15 years and first joined the SEMBEQ team as an executive director and dean. He is a member of the Canadian Council of The Gospel Coalition and of its Québec branch, SOLA. He and his wife of 26 years, Nathalie, worship at Église du Plateau in Montreal, where François serves as an Elder. The Turcottes have two children, Andrea and Samuel.
