I was born and raised in Bulacan, Philippines, until moving to Canada at age 9. Before moving to Hamilton, I spent many years in Burlington, Ontario, and then moved to Chicago for school.

I'm a graduate of Moody Bible Institute with an undergrad in preaching. I met and married my wife, Michaela, at Moody, and we moved to Hamilton together. We get excited about good theology, international food, loving outsiders, and camping. We enjoy hosting others in our home and giving glimpses into the ways of Jesus alongside our children, Trinity and Micah, who are one of God's sweetest gifts to us. 

I love Jesus, and I continually learn to love other people and ask others to follow him. I pray that, alongside the people around me, I would be known as a bit of resistance to our fragmented society through the rhythms of Jesus.
