ABOUT US

The Academy of Music at West Highland began in 2011, born of the vision to encourage the gift of music in the church's congregation and the surrounding community.

 

The Academy of Music offers instruction by Christian teachers in:

  • Piano
  • Violin
  • Voice
  • Guitar
  • Flute
  • Theory

Kids:

Are you playing an instrument in school? Do you have the 'gift' of music or aspire to a career in music?

Parents:

Do you need a recreational outlet for your child during the week?

Mature Adults:

Are you looking to express your creativity or resume lessons that ended when you were younger?

What Do You Need to Know?

  • COST/TUITION:

    Individual lessons are $20 per half hour. 

  • REQUIREMENTS:

    Students will be required to supply their own instrument and also be responsible to purchase method or repertoire books as needed. There will be the option of preparing for Conservatory exams, with the students responsible for the associated costs.

  • FALL TERM:

    (12 weeks) This semester will run from September to the first week of December.

  • WINTER / SPRING TERM:
    (20 weeks) This semester will run from January to early June. There will be no lessons during the March Break week.
