WELCOME TO WEST HIGHLAND!

We are so glad you are considering visiting West Highland! At WH you will experience vibrant worship, Bible-centered preaching, and a warm community.

Checking out a church for the first time can be intimidating, but we hope to answer some of your questions on this page to help make your first experience at WH a great one!

West Highland is all about Making the Word of God Fully Known and the People of God Fully Mature. All are welcome in our building no matter how they dress or who they vote for; we want to get to know you!

WHAT TO EXPECT

SUNDAY MORNING SERVICES

We offer two Worship Services on Sunday mornings at 9:00 & 11:00 AM. Only the second service is live-streamed. During the summer months we host just one service on Sundays at 10:00 AM.

Services typically run 75 minutes long. Bulletins with details about the day's events, upcoming Sundays, and important announcements are available on the table as you walk into the auditorium.

Visit the Welcome Centre in the foyer after the service for a warm welcome and gift bag.

Can't join us in person? Join us online Sundays at 11:00 AM.
Recordings of the service are posted on our YouTube channel and shared on Facebook on Sunday afternoon.

FLOOR PLAN

Checking out a new church can be intimidating. Here is a floor plan of the West Highland building so you can start to become acquainted with the layout. Look for our greeters (they're wearing WH name tags) throughout the building or visit our Welcome Centre. We would love to answer any questions you have on a Sunday morning!

PARKING

West Highland has ample parking available around the building with lots of accessiblility parking around the immediate perimeter of the building.

CHILDREN

If this is your first visit with us, please come to the WH Kids Welcome Desk on the lower level (entrance 1) to register your child(ren). WH Kids programming runs downstairs during both morning services.

Nursery-age children (0-2-year-olds), toddlers (2-4 year-olds), and kindergarteners (JK/SK) can be taken to their classes before the service begins.
Grade 1-6 students are invited to join their parents in the auditorium for the start of the service and will be dismissed to their teachers about 10 minutes into the service for their own special time together.

After the service has ended, your child(ren) will be in their classes ready to be picked up! See our classroom map for classroom locations.

YOUTH

JR. HIGH STUDENTS (Grades 7 & 8)
Jr. High Sunday Morning Classes in room 222 on the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Sunday of the month.

SR. HIGH STUDENTS (Grades 9-12)
There is no Sr. High program on Sunday mornings currently.

WEST HIGHLAND IS ACCESSIBLE

	Wheelchair accessibility Elevator to the first and second floors. Wheelchair accessible washrooms are located on both the first & second floors.
	Hearing assistive devices Ask an usher for a wireless hearing device for use during the service.
	Large print song sheets Copies are available at the back of the auditorium.
	Braille song sheets. Contact us so we can prepare a copy for you.
	Service animals. Service animals can be brought to any program or worship service.
	Accessible parking Entrances 1 and 3, as well as the front doors (west side of the building) are fully accessible.
