Dear Brothers and Sisters,

For the past week, we have seen an encouraging trend in Ontario as the daily number of COVID-19 cases continues to decline. For this, we should praise God and continue in prayer until the pressure on our hospitals and health care system is abated. In this final week of the 21 days we have dedicated to prayer for 2021 I trust you will be refreshed by your communion with the Lord and strengthened, even more, to pray without ceasing.

The Pastors have been leading Daily Devotions at 8:00 A.M. on Facebook Monday to Friday. I am happy to share with you that we will be extending Daily Devotions for another two weeks until February 12. In addition to our Pastors, some of our Elders will also be leading these uplifting and encouraging times in the Word and prayer.  I hope that you will be able to join us live at 8:00 A.M. or to watch later in the day on Facebook or through our website.

This Sunday our 21 Days of Prayer for 2021 will conclude with “Victorious Prayer” a message from Habakkuk 3 during our online 11:00 A.M. worship service. Then at 3:00 P.M., there will be a ZOOM Concert of Prayer for the whole church family. This will be the first time in our church’s history that we have a Concert of Prayer on ZOOM so please join us for this one-hour prayer time during which we will pray for our Church and the COVID Crisis.

To take part you will need to register so that we can send you the link to the ZOOM meeting.

Brothers and Sisters, I encouraged you last Sunday morning to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. I praise God for you and for every indication that during these difficult days you are pressing on in faith. Thank you for your faithfulness.

Looking forward to seeing you this Sunday and for the day when we will all be together again in our worship centre.
